Cocoa is a registered 100% katahdin ram who was born on February 25, 2026. He is very healthy, and is very calm and easy to handle. We are on a very small regenerative farm and expect our animals to thrive with minimal input. We do give our animals free-choice minerals. He has been extremely healthy and has grown well on 100% grass (although he is bucket trained when we bring in his minerals). No animal on our farm has ever had any hoof issues. Because he is so easy to handle, he would be a great moderate-sized, reasonably-priced ram for a homestead or small operation. Although he was a single, his dam was a twin and his sire was a triplet. He had to be weaned early (at 6 weeks!) because he understood his future job so well that we had to ensure he was not covering all the ewe lambs with live bullets (possible, though not likely, at 7 weeks). His sire threw excellent color and healthy, good-sized lambs, mostly twins with one single and one set of triplets, and we expect Cocoa to do about the same. We have a new ram coming in 2 weeks; we need Cocoa to be gone by then, so he is being offered at a discount as a result. Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions!
