Greetings to you! We are the Kingdom Solutions Family Farm located right in beautiful Pulaski, Tennessee!! We are a big family on a small farm, pursuing mainly heritage breeds of farm animals… Raising them to live as close as possible as how God created them to live. This way, they are more hardy, and healthier and happier creatures! And that makes us farmers and Homesteaders and families who have them healthier and happier too! Do some research, but you’ll find that the Dutch belted heritage breed of cattle are amazing dual purpose! They are prized for their exceptional grazing efficiency, high-quality milk, and docile temperament. They have Rich Milk (testing 3.5% and 5.5% butterfat). This creates a naturally "homogenized" milk that is soft-curded and easy to digest. They have excellent Forage-to-Dairy Efficiency! They are built to thrive on lush pastures and require very little grain supplementation. They are intelligent and friendly, making them a great & safer choice for small family farms and rotational grazing systems. Due to their small-boned structure, cows generally experience easy calving. They are hardy and have excellent longevity, often staying productive into their late teens, replacing overall herd replacement costs. SO….all that to introduce… Our Sweet Dutch belted cow/calf pair! Mama is affectionately known as “Petunia“ and we got her when she was about six months old from an amazing young man who was breeding this heritage breed of cattle in Tennessee. She was born 4/1/21. If it is meaningful, Father was registered and Maternal grandmother was registered. Those things did not matter to me. What mattered was that She was a fit for our family and Farm. And praise the Lord, she was! We Homeschool, and when we first got her, we would take our chairs out in the pasture and do “school” with her! She loved to eat the kids workbooks at first! 🤣 We have enjoyed having Petunia as our pet/cow and she has blessed us with two calves. She was first artificially inseminated and calved successfully without assistance on August 10, 2024. And the second time we bred her with a Dutch belted bull and she successfully calved April 19, 2026. This is the calf in the pictures and he is a bull. Last pic is the day he was born. He was handled the first several days but something shifted in our family and we didn’t get to work with him as much as we wanted to. We can get close to him without him running off. All of our animals (sheep and cows) pretty much come when they’re called and I imagine once he’s worked with he would be great. He could still be castrated to raise up for Beef (which are first one that we processed was absolutely delicious!) or keep him to breed. Petunia is obviously in Milk since she just calved a month or so ago. And you could easily begin milking, as well as calf-share if desired (such a blessing for those not wanting to be tied down to your family milk cow!). Our original plan was to milk her as well as our other Jersey Cow, who is due in June. But our family plans shifted so that is not going to happen, and as we prayed, we sensed that this cow/calf pair could be a beautiful blessing to someone else, as hard as it is to let her go. Petunia is walked on a leash… Although we haven’t “worked“ with her lately and could use some refreshing. But she definitely can be handled 100 %… Walking right up to her and clicking the leash on and leading her… baby calf always follows easily. We briefly milked Petunia, but we were trying to get used to a new milk machine and like I said, things shifted, so that’s not the plan anymore. She can be touched all over since that’s what we did to her since she was young. They are used to being in various kinds of Fencing from the standard wood & T-post and wire fence, to portable netting to Polywire with step in posts. Our livestock are grass fed on our family farm where we mainly rotationally graze, provide good minerals, and we interact daily with them. (No pesticides on our pastures). Grass-fed (hay in winter). Petunia and her baby are healthy and Petunia has always been healthy… No issues, vaccinations or shots of any kind or anything like that. No dewormer. Super healthy and sweet. They are safe to be around…We have seven children from ages 5-18 who help care for our farm animals and lots of visitors! Our cows are also around other livestock…our other family milk cow (mini Jersey) and lots of sheep, as well as chickens, ducks, cats and dog….and plenty of kids! This is an investment. We’re asking $5000 for both Petunia and her calf together. Could possibly separate to sell. We can deliver for a fee, if needed. We try to provide quality livestock for a reasonable price. Our prices reflect the time, genuine care, personal touch, and effort that’s put in to striving to have a healthy friendly flock. Never just buy a “cheap” animal! Do your research. May the Lord lead you🙏🏻❤️) You are valuable and you have purpose, praise Jesus!!
